What is Fender University?

Fender University is an exclusive music education program for guitar and bass enthusiasts worldwide. Our range of hands-on educational experiences includes music workshops, in-store product demonstrations, guitar and bass lessons, and behind-the-scenes access to Fender's manufacturing facilities and the world-renowned Fender Custom Shop. Many of the most dynamic, enriching and satisfying moments in life come from the passionate pursuit of knowledge. Fender University provides an interactive path of opportunity for those with an interest in music.

practice techniques, soloing, phrasing and gear.

Gary Hoey
Wazoo Music Group recording artist and Fender clinician Gary Hoey is hitting the road to demonstrate the latest in Fender guitar and amplifier products.
At each appearance, Hoey will introduce players to Fender's American Special guitar series— everything you want in an affordable U.S.-made guitar. He will also demonstrate the new Fender G-DEC® 3 guitar amplifier — like no other guitar amp you've ever experienced.
In the course of each appearance, Hoey will explain how to get better tone onstage and in the studio. He'll also offer technique-improving exercises and discuss the Fender products he uses as a professional musician. Further, he will perform songs from his extensive catalog and answer questions from guests.
